Tally does not collect any data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.
Everything you enter — your daily calorie goal and intake amounts — is stored only on your device using the operating system's local storage. It never leaves your phone and is never transmitted to us or to any third party. The app makes no network requests. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.
Because no data is collected or shared, there is nothing for us to sell, disclose, or misuse.
If you choose to connect Apple Health, Tally writes the calories you log to Apple Health as Dietary Energy, and may read that value back so your daily total stays in sync. This information is handled by Apple Health on your device — Tally never transmits it to us or to any third party, and never uses Health data for advertising. You can turn access off at any time in the Health app.
By using Tally, you agree that the app is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. You use the app and any numbers it displays at your own discretion and risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decisions made in reliance on the app. The app performs simple arithmetic on values you enter and makes no representation that any goal or total is appropriate for you.
Your use of the app is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.
